The main ingredient in our EPA-approved insecticide is pyrethrum, which is all-natural, non-toxic to mammal, and biodegradable. Because pyrethrum is all-natural, insects do not build a resistance to it, as happens with most chemical pesticides.

Pyrethrum is extracted from a type of daisy grown mainly in Africa and Australia. It has been used industrially for more than 70 years.

We use the same active ingredients as are used in RID and other lice-treatment shampoos – but the concentration in those shampoos is more than 13 times stronger than what we mist. And we typically spray less than 100 total seconds out of the 86,400 seconds in a day.
